Please go to Edit>>Preference>>Performance>>Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor"
Also update your Graphics card drivers
Restart Lightroom and let us know if that helps.
Thanks for your response.
However, Adobe Lightroom CC isn't even loading - so I cannot go to EDIT>> or any other commands.
Lightroom CC was working perfectly on Wednesday (my time) - when this problem suddenly occurred.
I haven't done anything out of the ordinary to cause this to happen.
I don't know - but perhaps I need to reinstall Adobe Lightroom CC again from scratch.
Thanks again for your reply.
I don't understand your message: Please refer solution to this thread Lightroom CC freezes when on Develop mode and manually disable Gpu usage in Lightroom.
My Lightroom CC program DOES NOT FREEZE on any mode - IT DOESN'T LOAD AT ALL.
I cannot access any commands - the program doesn't load - the "Splash screen" stays on top of the image and the program doesn't respond.
Not freezing in any mode.
See screendumps below:
As you can see - Lightroom CC is not even loading to give me access to the Command Bar.
As a layman - I still think we should consider reinstalling Lightroom CC from scratch.
Freezing is NOT the problem - but failure to load is the problem.
I really do appreciate your attempts to help me rectify this problem.
I am sure you are getting as frustrated as I am.
I have the same problem today; a failure when loaded
