Yes, that's possible. When you select the puppet in the timeline and then in the Attributes panel uncheck the red points of the attributes you don't want to record. Then do it all over again for each attribute you want to record. Mouse-over that red point and the tooltip will tell you more.
Thank you Monika,
But - as i get it - it´s just the intensity.
The tracking from the cam is always for the hole face....
The Cam tracks the complete face, but only those attributes with red point are recorded.
So for example when you got the mouth right, you turn it off, then do another recording for the eyes or hands or whatever.
This one has lip-sync recorded in the first session, I can then turn Lip sync off and turn the face on to record it
Yes, i got that.
But if how you separate "Kopfposition" and "Augenbrauen"? (not Intensity...the Position)
Currently with Face, you have to record all that at once. We realize Face is getting huge and crazy, and will probably break it up in the future. The best you can do now is record more takes and blend them in: Recording & Editing with Takes (Adobe Character Animator Tutorial) - YouTube
The one option you do have - which I use a lot - is, under Face, turning the red dot next to "Camera Input" off and turning "Eye Gaze Via Mouse Input" on. Then you can control the eyes with a mouse. Character Animator Live - Episode 2: Walking Seth & Shmarflop - YouTube
thats what i thought. thanks for the response.
Would be really cool to have this feature in future.
The "Eye Via Mouse" is the option i use in the moment. I just worked with an actor for a musikvideo..all have to be really in time. Is it possible to make an "Mouse Input" for the Eyebrows for example?

Not yet, but that's a nice idea!
As you probably already know, you can change the intensity of the eyebrow strength after recording.
And even if you used an actor, you can step in and do a quick 3-second fix take on your own, trying to match up with his/her general face position, and blend it to fix it. You'll just want to disarm lip sync and turn your mic icon off so you don't add an extra audio / lip sync take as well. We've seen this done a lot for post-recording face fixes.
However, i´ll find a workaround for sure :-)
Another Question...is it possible to cut a recording in the timeline. And copy a take? For example doing loops?
Yes - check out the Edit menu for duplicate and split options. You can trim takes by dragging on their edges as well. Loops are not currently possible but heavily requested - to currently loop you should either a) do a looping cycle layers animation or b) duplicate and move takes manually.
Thanks! I missed the wood for the trees :-)
is it possible to record face behaviour (eyelids, head movements, eyebrows) separately in the latest version? or it is just to record all in one but we have to click on red button for sepatation, deleting unnecessary movement for mix with necessary and so on?
No, those are all currently under the Face behavior and all connected with a single face performance. So if you have a mistake or edit, the best thing to do is record a short new section over top of it and blend the new performance over top of the old one.
