I have 2 mxml files that represent 2 pages of my book. On the
1st page I have a radiobutton group with 2 radiobuttons (hardback,
softback). When the user selects either radiobuttons a variable is
assigned a value of 1 for hardback or 2 for softback, and this
value is shown on Page 2 in a textInput control.
The problem I am finding is that when the user changes their
mind and returns to Page 1 to make another selection from the
radiobuttons, the new selection is not being updated in the
Can anyone help me to find the best way to capture the user
input from the radiobuttons, barring in mind that the user is
allowed to change the selection however many times they want after
visiting Page 2?
I would think that if the variable is made [Bindable] and the
radio button sets that variable upon a change event, that the
TextArea in MXML2 is changed. But if not, you could possibly fire
off a custom event when the radio button changes, and listen for
the event in the TextInput.
