That is likely a permissions issue. Mac OSX likes to mess those up when it gets updated or reinstalled for some reason. You need to repair your permissions. There are tools out there that do it for you, but you can do it manually too. Go here and set the permissions to read/write of this folder Library/Application Support/Adobe/ and make sure you apply those settings to everything contained in it too. Just setting it for the top level won't cut it.
If that doesn't help, do what the error message says and contact Adobe support (this isn't Adobe support - this is a user-to-user forum where we all try to help each other).
