    Pick Custom Colour?

    faeriee

hello ! I'm fairly new to using Adobe Sketch, as I'm a long used of Sketchbook pro app. I use an iPad mini 4 for my platform.

i was wondering how i could pick a custom colour for my brush from a picture? Like a colour picker? I've tampered with the app to look for  the tool, but to no avail.

      thanks in advance !

          Yes

          1. Double Click the brush you want to use/Assign new color to.
          2. Click on the lowest circle icon "Color"

Side note, "long press" on the brush will bring up multiple styles of brushes for each slot.  If you like to work with a particular brush, in different colors, you can load up your tool bar with the same brush style, each one (of the five) with a different color.   Makes it easier to quickly switch color values.

            Hi Faerlee,

Ko's instructions are right on for color picking.

One thing: you can't pick a color from an image in Photoshop Sketch. You'd have to create a color theme from a photo in Capture CC and use that theme in Sketch.
