My current MacBook is heading off to be repaired, but I have a few deadlines to meet, I am assuming that I can access Abode cloud on another MacBook, login and download AE onto that machine, and then when I get my original laptop back I can reverse the process.
Has anyone done this before? I can imagine moving the software onto a new machine is standard practice (when getting a new laptop) but just not sure if it will let me move it back to my old machine.
If anyone knows, give me a shout!
You can move to your new machine and then disable it after use. nothing magic about it. However, you won't exactly be "moving back" to your old machine. Either the sign-in is still active (in addition to your second usage allowance on your replacement machine) or the activation has been burnt due to the repairs damaging the hardware footprint or replacing the harddrive. In this case you need to reinstall everything from scratch just as well and on top of it contact support to reset your activations...
