It would seem that LR cannot detect matches between Exposures 4 and 5, at least when those exposures are attached to another panorama.
If you want any opinion as to why, or if you want Adobe to be able to look into the issue if things do seem to match between 4 and 5, then please upload your 6 exposures to somewhere like dropbox.com and post a public download link as a reply, here.
I worked on this problem for quite a while and found that 1,2,3,4 would
stitch but not with 5 &6. 4,5,6 would stitch but not 3,4,5,6. Tried
converting my raw files to TIF then run panorama but that didn't help.
Tried more combinations but no help. Never saw one error message. The
panorama code had 6 photos to stitch, failed, but doesn't have the ability
to tell the user there was a problem or what the problem was.
I finally tried a couple more 6 exposure panorama and they worked - even a
7 exposure and it worked. The problem must have been with #4.
Also, I have never gotten a 2 exposure panorama to work either - nowhere
did I learn there is a 3 exposure minimu.
Thanks for your help - I appreciate it very much. I will mark this problem
