Lightroom gets stuck on this when I click play or preview in the Slide Show. Slide # 8 is just a jpeg image and switching images does not help. Optimized the catalog, checked 'Test Integrity" on quit, restarted the iMac. No help. I can cancel out of the window, but I cannot play any slideshows. Tried other collections and got same result . The collections have both videos and photos, and the slide show has music files from iTunes.
I have Adobe CC subscription, using on an iMac 21.5 in, 1.4 Ghz Intel Core i5; 8 GB Memory; OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.13
Catalogue and image files are on an external 2 TB HD.
Any similar experience? Solutions?
Well let me answer my own question since I found the problem:
"Zoom to Fill Frame" in Options panel was checked. This is OK if the collection only has photos, but when I added videos, the problem started. Unchecking the box solved the problem. Slideshow now plays the photos and videos nicely. Maybe this will be useful info for others.
I have the same issue on a Window Surface Book 1. I have no video in the slide show. I do have a mix of Jpeg and Raw. This could be an issue.
