    Using an animation as a preloader for a website

    streshi

      Hello!

      I have an animation that I would like to use as a preloader or an intro for a website.

      I'd like to run the animation and then for it to banish and display the website, the idea is to load the website behind while animation is playing.

      Is there a way for doing this?

      I'll really really appreciate your help!

      Thanks!

          You can try putting your website in a div and then setting css value of that div to hidden. When you are ready for it to be shown you can get set the visibility to true:

          visibility: visible|hidden;

          Alternatively first load your EA project html file then when that finishes set off the following code:

          window.location="http://www.adobe.com";

            Thank you very much!

            I've tryed what you said and it works great!

            Except for a little detail... Adobe Edge Animate script is now blocking my web scripts, after the animation runs, the web is displayed but all scripts are frozen.

            I have my animation items (with scripts) inside a div, and the web elements in another div.

            Im not much of an expert with javascript but I believe something in edge's code keeps the other scripts from running
