I want to load id3 tags when I load mp3s in a mediaDisplay,
just as I would do it directly on the timeline:
mediaDisp._playerImpl._sound.onID3 = function ...
But when I use a mediaDisplay instance within a class, flash
says _playerImpl is private and cannot be accessed. I looked in the
mediaDisplay.as for some other possibility to somehow access the
sound object but it seems there is no useful public property or
method to handle this.
So I am about to create my own mediaDisplay component with a
method that passes all the id3 tags. This seems no big deal but I
am wondering if there is no easier aproach? Maybe some of you guys
did something similar once? I mean, I just want to load id3 tags
from the sound object the mediaDisplay is playing... Any Ideas?
No, I don't believe that nobody can say something to this
problem or has experienced. For sure there are enough out here
doing OOP in flash.
So I am really about creating my own mediaDisplayPro class
which extends mediaDisplay. It was a bigger deal than I thought. I
had to study a lot of descriptions and scripts. All these different
files and the ways of exporting components so they appear in the
component browser and so on. I could do a tutorial about this
