Which version of InDesign and which OS?
You've presumably no back-up and have saved the document to Adobe's free cloud storage - is that right?
Please email your InDesign file to email@example.com and I will take a look at the document.
If the file is larger than 10 Mb, you can zip (and password protect) the file and upload to Creative Cloud account (or Dropbox) and send us the document link.
I am using InDesign CC 2015 on a Windows 8 laptop.
Certainly, I am saving to Aobe's free cloud storage.
I had a previous version of the file on the laptop hard disk. I lost about 2 hours of work. Actually, I have reworked the older file to have it up to date (so iti is now).
By now, I have reworked an older version of the file. I have the "corrupted" (note the quotations) ) file, which shows a 0 bytes size. Althoguh I have reupdated the older file, I will email it ASAP, to the address you did mention in your answer.
As I said in the forum, I reworked an older version of the file. Nonetheless, I would liked to send the forum's mentioned file in case something could be done to help somebody else in the future.
P.S. I did use the forum after going to the Adobe help pages, and trying the "Restore Preferences" and the "InDesgin Recovery" things.
It's really important to save incrementally named copies of your work and keep duplicate copies in more than one place. I would not rely on just on Adobe's free storage.
I absolutely agree. Thank you v much, Derek.
