Flash player 21.0.0.213 for Win 8.1 & 10

Hi, New flash player 21.0,0.213 has been released recently but i couldn't find the release from Microsoft addressing the vulnerability for Windows 8.1 and 10. Can anyone suggest as we need to deploy the update to 1000 more machines

Thanks Kratika for the reply but just curious to know when adobe releases an update in middle of the month not on patch cycle week, will Microsoft releases the update immediately or should wait until patch cycle week. Since the vulnerability was publicly disclosed for Windows 10 particularly why it still not available for installation.

Hi,

Adobe has no control as to when Microsoft will release an update.  They may release it out-of-band, or they may wait until their Patch Tuesday.  If you have concerns regarding this, I recommend contacting Microsoft to find out why they hold off on releasing important security updates for Flash Player and encourage them to not do so, as doing so puts users at risk.
