Have you tried lightroom.adobe.com? If you are using Lightroom CC you can go to that website and sign in with your Adobe ID and password. Then you can open a collection, choose to share it, copy a link and send it to anyone.
The list of apps available for app sharing ("Open in") is an iOS system thing and isn't controlled by LR Mobile. Try it from another app (like Photos). Do you see a different list?
Yes, from other apps sharing is ok!
I assume that you are talking about sharing from LrM on iOS in the grid or loupe? Or is it on Android?
Did this start occurring after a new install? It would be interesting to know which apps you have on your device.
I've seen cases where a particular app cause problems. Do you remember if this started occurring after a new app?
I am using Lr mobile on Android . I have not installed any recent app. In any other sharing case I can see all the possibilities (mail, socials, whatsapp) but lightroom opens whatsapp imediatly without giving me other options. I have tried to reinstall but nothing.
I think you have (accidentally?) chosen Whatsapp as the default app for sharing and now it won't show a menu with the different apps. You have to remove Whatsapp as the default target share app. You can follow this article - How to clear a default app setting on Android - CNET.and clear defaults from Whatsapp app. Let me know if it's solved.
FWIW, this is an android OS setting and it will affect share from all apps and not just LR, so it's better if you do it.
Thank you for your answer. I have tried to do what youbsuggested but there was no default app activated....
Could you please try to do this :
go to Settings > Apps > (tap on the 3 dots) > Reset App Preferences
Note : You get a warning window, tap "Reset Apps".
Please try this and let me know if it works.
Thank you! Now sharing mode is correct!
Thank you everybody and good day to all!
I have the same problem on a Samsung S5.
a) If I want to share several photos it gives me a list of applications to where I want to share. -->OK
b) But if I choose only one photo to share then the only application to share is Google drive --> Not OK
The solution here (go to Settings > Apps > (tap on the 3 dots) > Reset App Preferences) worked for me.
But: As soon as I choose an application to share ( for example Instagram ) from then on it stays with that application. Means it does only show the different applications to share for the first time.
I don't want to reset app preferences each time I shared a photo. I want to share to diferent applications.
Any ideas? Is it a bug?
Unfortunately this is still a bug.
Only way to work around is the 3 dot method and reset all App Prefs.
