What I'm doing is creating a drop down with a list of email addresses. The list is becoming very long. What I would like to do now, is to be able to type in the first few letters of the email name, then all the emails that begins with the letters would show. I've searched the forum but could not find anything.
I just don't know quite how to accomplish this. Would someone, that knows how to do this please let me know? I'd like to try this approach to see if I can apply it to my project. Thanks. Acrobat Pro X on a Mac.
I don't think it can be achieved with just a single field.
I know it can be done if you use a separate text field as the "filter" for the drop-down field, though. In fact, I've developed a script that sets it up for you just like that: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Create Live Filtered List
