    Stop button for FVLplayback

      I am new to Adobe Animate and never really touched Flash before and I'm having trouble creating code for a Stop button to control a video in FLVplayback.

      I have tried the 'Click to Pause Video' snippet below:

      stop_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToStopPause_11);

      function fl_ClickToStopPause_11(event:MouseEvent):void

      {

        tgg_mv_01.pause();

      }

      and keep receiving this error message:

      TypeError: Error #1006: pause is not a function.

        at Presentation01_02_02_fla::MainTimeline/fl_ClickToStopPause_11()

      I have also tried to add a 'Mouse Click Event' snippet and add 'tgg_mv_01.stop;' and this doesn't work either.

      (tgg_mv_01 is the instance name of the video)

      Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!!
