I have just upgraded from the Nikon D7100 to the D7200. I was shocked and very disappointed to find that Adobe is not supporting files for the D7200. I use Light Room for all of my editing and it's essentially useless to me now. WHEN will Adobe be fixing this????
Actually, it was fixed quite a while ago. Support was added in Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC 2015. Apparently, you are using an older version of Lightroom, perhaps 5.7.1. The D7200 was released after updates to that version had been released, and there will be no more updates to Lightroom 5. You can either upgrade to Lightroom 6, or you can use the free DNG converter to create DNG copies that you can use in the older versions of Lightroom.
I have just upgraded from LR5.7 to LR6 and it will not sync any of my D7200 RAW or NEF files. Can someone help please?
Kenneth, make sure you are actually running Lightroom 6 and not 5. Many people get and install LR 6 but keep launching LR 5 but never notice they are still running the old version. Also make sure you update it to the latest version which is 6.7.
