Highlight/select the adjusted clip, right click and pick copy. Or, highlight the clip and do a "Ctrl C". Either works to put the clip in the clipboard memory.
For reasons I don't understand, I've never found a "paste" command in the menus. It is always grayed out. So, ignore that.
Instead, move the time line indicator to the place you want the copy. Press "Ctrl V", for insert.
The commands "Ctrl C" and "Ctrl V" go back to before there were Windows and menus. They always work!

thats great its working!! however when i place the 10sec clip where i want it, it seem to delete 10sec of the original clip that was their in first place.. was hoping it not to affect my other footage, and auotmatily fit in and ajust aroung the clip, if that makes sence? is their away to stop this please
