Some misunderstanding there. The one I want to rename is the preset, not the photo.

Can you make lightroom display the filename instead of the name from "title="? I'm having approx 4300 preset and it will take literally forever to manually rename all of it.
Not sure where you got these presets from and or whether you created them but by default the "File" name and the "internalName" along with the "title = " name should all be the same.
Also I don't thing it is the Title you need to change but the Internal Name.
There's no way to make LR display filename instead of title.
You would need some kind of utility that could open all the .lrtemplate files and replace the current title with the filename, then save and close the files. You'd also need to be able to tell this utility not to include the file extension, otherwise all your presets would have .lrtemplate as part of the name.
I don't know if this is even possible, maybe somebody else can tell you.
In any case, 4300 presets sounds like way too many too me - even with meaningful names it must be really hard to find the one you're looking for.
