    Change input box placeholder text color

    bsundberg Level 1

      How do I write the CSS to change the placeholder text color in my input box using the following code?

      ::-webkit-input-placeholder {color: white;}

      :-moz-input-placeholder {color: white;}

      ::-moz-input-placeholder {color: white;}

      :-ms-input-placeholder {color: white;}

      Below is the current CSS styling of the input box:

      var email = sym.$('email')

      email.html();

      inputEmail = $('<input />').attr({'type':'text', 'placeholder':'Whats your email?'});

      inputEmail .css ('outline', 'none');

      inputEmail .css ('font-size', 24);

      inputEmail .css ('hieght', 60);

      inputEmail .css ('width', 320);

      inputEmail .css ('background-color', 'transparent');

      inputEmail .css ('border', 'none');

      inputEmail .css ('border-radius', '100px');

      inputEmail .css ('text-align', 'center');

      inputEmail .css ('color', 'white');

      inputEmail .appendTo(email);
