Thank you for the reply. I am using:
Win10 - 10.0.10586 Build 10586
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 - 14.0.7166.5000 (32 bit)
Acrobat XI - 11.0.15
And here are the two error messages I get:
These errors only occur when printing to Acrobat. If I use the generic, "Microsoft Print to PDF" it will successfully create the pdf. If i create the pdf from Word, Exel or Outlook, Acrobat comes up fine. It is only when creating a PDF in Acrobat from any report created in Microsoft Access.
What happens if you try to print using "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" printer (for testing purpose only) ?
There are some suggestions from Microsoft for similar issue though the version is not same,
but you may try suggestions : https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/kb/294552
Yes, I am able to print to the Microsoft XPS Document Writer and it comes out great.
I have worked through that KB article you mention below but none of those steps solve the issue.
Will try to drill this down this further to find the root cause. To do that, you may follow below steps:
1. If the file is not locally saved, try to save the files on the local machine and then try to print.
2. Launch Acrobat/Reader , click on Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) try to disable/uncheck " Protected View" and Enable Enhanced Security.
3. Are you able to print to "PDF Printer" via other applications ?
Thank you again Tariq for the help,
1) All of the files that I create are saved on my local machine.
2) Protected View was already disabled, and Enhanced Security was already enabled.
3) Yes, I can print (create pdf files) from other applications, Word, Excel and other non-Office apps.
Is it possible you may a file with us that exhibits the same behavior ? If yes, let me know i will use private message option to continue further discussion.
Would you be able to do a remote session and I can show you the process?
Have you ever got this figured out? I'm having almost exactly the same problem. I don't get the 2nd error message about not enough memory but I do get the one about "Couldn't print your object". I have Access 2013 and had Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. When I upgraded to Windows 10 this happened on most of the computers in our office. I thought it maybe had to do with Acrobat Pro 9 so I installed a trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but I'm having the same problem. I noticed also that when I manually opened and printed the report it sometimes prints and sometimes doesn't.
Also having this issue with Windows 7 + Access 2013.
I've found that when the print dialog opens and I leave the default "Adobe PDF" printer selected without touching it... I get the error.
If I click on the drop down to change printers, and select "Adobe PDF" anyway.. it seems to print fine.
Going to try changing region, reboot, change back... as suggested in this article. (Looks like it's for a different version of windows/office, but figure it's worth trying.)
