Do you get the same problem if you use the "import" button instead of the "sync directory" command?
not the same, if i try the "import" button Lightroom isn't showing any photos, doesn't matter which folder..
Could you please see if "Include Subfolder" option is selected?
it was selected, but unselecting it makes no difference.
also there are no subfolders or hidden subfolders.
i'dont know, it's seems like there is something broken with the catalog since its working if i create a new one. tried optimizing it, didnt help.
I'm having the same issue since the latest update. If I click the Import button, the program stops responding before the import dialog opens. It continues to show busy icon until Lightroom is aborted. I've tried copying the photos to a folder in Explorer and synchronizing the folder without showing the import dialog to import and the program stops responding and causes my computer to reboot after 30 seconds or so.
hmm seems like the problem is harddrive related, i copied the catalog to another external drive, its working fine one the new one.
file system on the new one: OS X Extended
file system on the old one: NTFS (its a Samsung harddrive with mac drivers)
where are your photos stored?
