In the HTML5 option in Animate CC, I'm looking to have the stage resize to fit whatever screen/browser size it happens to be viewed in. BUT:
- I don't want the content on the stage to scale with he stage resize.
- I do want the content to maintain its position on the stage with regards to its assigned coordinates.
You're gonna have a bad time with that. The reason is that the canvas library that Flanimate uses in HTML5 Canvas mode (CreateJS) uses fixed-resolution rendering. When you stretch it, it doesn't re-render at higher resolution, it just makes the pixels bigger. So if you code your project to maintain the same on-screen size of widgets as the canvas is scaled up, that means the widgets will become lower-resolution the more the window is stretched.
Ok. So what code can I use that will prevent the elements on the stage from scaling up with the stage?
