Adobe appears to have changed the order of precedence for the font locations when resolving duplicate font names in CC 2015. In CC 2014 and earlier, if there were fonts in both the InDesign fonts directory and the Windows fonts directory with the same name, InDesign would use the one in the InDesign directory. However, in 2015, it uses the one in the Windows directory instead. This occurs in both the client and server versions of CC 2015. This is creating a significant problem when trying to upgrade a server from 2014 to 2015 as we have several fonts that are being used by hundreds of templates across the server that have alternate versions installed in the InDesign folder to override the default Windows version of the font. Does anyone know if there is a way to force 2015 to revert to the behavior of all the previous versions?
