Well, it's probably simply an unsupported configuration. CS5 was never designed to run on Win 10, Win 10 uses a different driver model so Mir may not properly use OpenGL and so on. If at all, take it up with Red Giant after doing the usual like updating drivers and changing settings.
I've used Mir with cs5 and windows 10 since I beta'd Win10.

Also wouldn't be posting here if I hadn't tried everything.
I didn't go back far enough on the driver. 15.7 catalyst has it working. Will be testing upwards to see if the problem is consistent with the crimson AMD driver.
The highest driver was 15.12 catalyst after that After Effects and Mir don't speak.
