Installing Photoshop CS6 from disk

When I try to load my Photoshop, there is some kind of problem and it asks me to download Adobe SupportAdvisor.  That download is no longer offered.  What can I do?

See my reply #1 in trying to download but keeps saying installed disc is damaged  for the information you did not provide, and some ideas that may help
