I have uninstalled and reinstalled it using Adobe guidance without success. When I click on the Editor and select either New or Existing project, the progress bar moves for an extended period before timing-out. This is a new HP Spectre x360 4185nr running Win 10 Home version 1511 OS build 10586.218.
I had the same problem on my previous Sony Vaio running Win 7 professional, and thought it was hardware incompatibility. Now I wonder if the Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements DVD I purchased may have a software defect. Can I download Premiere Elements 12 and try installing it?
