Client keeps seending me text which she saves as TextEdit (or in her email message, which, when copied to TextEdit, does preserve it's formatting).
But when I place the text in InDesign, even when selecting "Preserve styles and formatting" it still shows up as the default fonts, all regular, no ital or bold or bold-ital.
Any solution to that?
Do you have a copy of Word? It looks like pasting in Word and then placing the file will do the trick. Pasting from Word does the same thing you are describing so:
