    Want to make gray default text color turn black when typed

      I am using Adobe Pro XI, and I want to change my default text color.  I am using a custom format script that automatically displays a default text if there is no data entered in the field and removes the default text once the user clicks into the text field.  So Text1 would has the following custom script:

      if(!event.value)event.value="Enter Supervisor Name";

      I would like to know what can I to add to this script to have it display as gray, and then once the data is typed, it turns black.  So far, I've only been able to find solutions for changing the text colors if there is text in the Default Value, under the Options tab.  I think putting text in the Default Value requires the user to delete the text before they start typing, which is why I'm trying this under the custom script instead.
