          It sounds like you'll want to assign your second XML.onLoad event
          handler as part of the functionality performed by your first onLoad handler.
          In other words, write your first event handler function and associate it
          with the onLoad event of your XML instance.

          When that handler executes, have it re-assign the onLoad event to your
          second function and then immediately perform the second load (which will
          trigger that second function).

          Make sense? If not, I'll try to explain it again.
