I've searched the edit > shortcuts options within InDesign CC (2015.2) but can't spot 'Do not align to baseline grid'
It's a fairly common switch I want to make and I'm having a bit of an ongoing nightmare with a frozen shoulder where I can barely operate my Mac/InDesign without deep discomfort. So I've rigged up my Wacom tablet to sit above my keyboard so I can slide the keyboard in and out when I need keys on the right, this helps reduce the angle I'm needing to get my right arm/shoulder at to be able to carry on working.
And then I'm programming as much as I can into my rocker switch on my Wacom pen so that I just need a twitch of my finger to do common shortcuts - marvellous!
So if anyone can help with that particular shortcut allocation I'd be most grateful.
You can set the shortcut with
Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts
Product Area > Text and tables > Align to Baseline Grid (alphabetical listing, so close to top)
