    I want my movie clip to play

      Hi there folks,
      I want my movie clip on the stage inactive until 100 frames have played, once 100 frames have played I want the movie clip to play, what do I need to do?

          Hi!

          Try to insert this code in the frame where you want the pause to take place:
          stop();
          var counter = 0;
          var maxCount = 100;
          onEnterFrame = function() {
          // trace(counter);
          if (counter++ >= maxCount) {
          delete onEnterFrame;
          play();
          }
          }

          Note that this defines the onEnterFrame function. If you are using this
          function already for that movieclip, then you need a workaround. For example
          just put an empty movieclip on stage and connect the onEnterFrame to that
          movieclip.
