Authorizing my computer to read a book I purchased a decade ago

I purchased a book from L'Harmattan about 10 years ago and need to ADE to read it.

As I loaded ADE on my new laptop, it has asked for me to authorize my machine. I have an Adobe ID and account; however, it is not linked with the email I used to purchase the book (which dates to my time as a grad student).

Does anyone have any idea about how to find a work around?
