I have a problem regarding the font "Adobe Song Std - L".
I am working on roll-up banners for our Chinese colleague. I have 4 banners, all in a seperate indesign files. I have used Adobe Song for the charakters in all the different versions. But in one version the font looks much thinner than in the others. I have checked all the properties, they are all the same colour, all in the same size and all without outline. I really don't understand what the problem is. If I copy the thinner text into the text box of the other files, it appears thicker...
I am about to go crazy. Any help is highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot!
Sounds like that file is the only one without some sort of transparency effect (drop shadow, maybe?). Text "emboldening" is a known screen and low-res print effect when transparency is added to a page.
Jippiiiih! You saved me from going crazy!!!
I changed the text outer glow effect of the thinner text and tada! It is the same now!
/Even though both texts are marked as "normal (no effects)" )
Maybe I - on accident - pressed a secret shortcut while working on the file... who knows. Whatever the problem is, it is fixed now!
