Specify the exact width of an object, not percentage, without putting in cm

      Hi,

I use Indesign 5.5. I have always wanted to be able to do this and I don't know if I can. I have a photo. I want to resize it exactly to a specific size in inches or cm or whatever. I don't want to have to put in inches or cms. I just want to put in the number. Is there any way of doing this instead of it resizing percentage-wise when I put in a number? I'm doing this all the time and get frustrated having to put in the units every time when I don't think I've EVER used the percentage option.

If I use the content grabber I can resize down using the width box on the panel, but if I try to resize up, the frame enlarges, the photo seems to enlarge with it, but it's all invisible except for the section in the middle which is the size of the original photo.

      Thanks
