I am new to AE. I purchased a collection of templates designed for Lower Thirds titles. I am able to make the necessary text and color edits. When the text is within the width of the animation (shown in Blue), everything is fine. However, some titles are too long and they are cut off when played back (circled in Red). I can't identify where I can make the changes to the width of the blue area. I've looked through all the objects found in the Project window. It is an animated element that slides across the screen and changes colors. I was able to adjust the colors. Might anyone have experience with similar templates and can advise how I identify/locate and adjust the width of this text background element? Appreciate any help.
It's probably determined in one of the nested comps, and the screen shot doesn't provide a whole lot of info about that.
Templates can get VERY complicated -- they're not for the fait of heart if you're a newcomer. One thing to do -- read the template instructions if it came with any.
