Have you tried disabling GPU acceleration? Let us know if that makes a difference.
Edit >> Preferences >> Performance (tab)
Lightroom >> Preferences >> Performance (tab) on Mac OSX
Uncheck the box “Use Graphics Processor”
Then click OK
Thanks for your quick response. No this does not help. I took my computer to Best Buy and they said my computer does not even have a GPU! That I need to go to intel to download there, I did this and I get an error stating the driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. I am fuming hot here...this is a brand new computer. I do not know what else to do? I only have 6 days left before I am able to return. Any suggestions are welcome as my full time job is busy and I have no time during the week to work on this. GOD BLESS.

These guys seem to have no clue.
Every computer has a GPU. It is either internal with the CPU (like an internal HD530 in i7-6xxx CPU) or a dedicated external one (i.e. a Nvidia GTXyyy), which is the preferred version, but at a higher cost.
If you tell us what you see in the device manager in Windows, we can tell you what driver you need.
