    rahimhaji Level 1

      Dear Friends,

I am trying to convert an eLearning lesson in to HTML5 with Animate CC. When I compile (by pressing ctrl+enter) with Animate it is running in the browser. if I run by double clicking the html file from explorer it is not working, pls advice me how can I run and see the output as stand alone.

If I want to upload in net or if I want to check whether it is working with tab, what should I do? I want to run those converted lessons in tab what are the ways pls advice me.

if iam upload in net, html, js, image and sound folder is it enough? pls help me to finish this conversion its urgent friends...

      Thanks in advance,

      Regards,

      Syed Abdul Rahim

Currently in Animate, HTML5 Canvas files exported with 'Images combined as Spritesheet' setting (in Publish Settings) cannot be viewed locally. You must do Test-Movie to preview them or host them on a server to view them. This is because of the JSON file that gets generated alongside which is restricted by the browsers when viewing locally.

This limitation has been fixed in our internal builds and will be working fine once the next Animate update is released.

For now, a workaround is to go to Publish Settings and uncheck the checkbox: Combine as Spritesheets and then do Test Movie.
