Consumers should clearly have been made aware that transferring from Dollar Photo Club to Adobe Stock meant loss of variety in file format and would require use of Adobe software products. I relied on the versatility of DPC for several things and this site is not satisfying those needs, by comparison. Will the stock line art remain predominately .ai files? Are there any plans to provide the variety in file format that DPC users were accustomed to? What was Adobe's intent? Its provisions are remarkably limiting and much different than those of our former image provider. Few images are available in more than the .ai format, for example the line art.
Actually you are not losing any variety of file formats. You are actually gaining the Illustrator format. Everything you had access to has been migrated to Adobe Stock. If you don't want the Illustrator files, uncheck vector from the search tool and be sure Illustrations is checked if you still want the line art stuff.
But Brad what if I want vector images but don't want Illustrator?
Exactly!! there are far easier vector formats to use that AI and vector art is WAY worse under adobe than the vendor they bought and ruined.
