One my users has started getting this error when trying to save to PDF from Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. His standalone installation of Adobe Acrobat DC is activated and has a valid license. We've tried repairing its installation and re-launching applications but still no luck. I have read similar forum posts about this error but the solutions I saw (like what we tried) have not yet worked. One workaround was to launch Acrobat first, then launching Word, and trying to save to PDF from Word, but he still gets the same error. Has anyone experienced this issue?
Had Adobe Support login and help us reinstall the product. They did a fair amount of re-activation and other wrangling before the issue completely went away. Seems to be working normally now. Not sure what the root cause was since this had been working in the past.
