I am editing a video - I have an Asus, windows 8 (I think 64 bit). The video has audio clips that were recorded on an iphone 6.
When I open the audio clips in elements, a couple of them are totally normal but most of them are in slow motion. When I play the clips on my computer
outside the editor, they sound normal speed, but when I open them in elements, they are way slower than normal.
Why is this happening and how to I fix it?
The audios are all MPEG-4 audio (.m4a)
Also, i just tried opening the audio clips in videopad editor and they are working normally in there - they are normal speed. So the problem is only in adobe premiere elements.
Try converting the audio to a WAV file using the free download Audacity.
It could be that this audio uses a non-standard bitrate or codec.
Awesome thanks so much! audacity couldn't open the files but I converted it to WAV using: audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wav
and they are working normally inside premiere elements!
