Hello. I am using the convert audio to keyframes feature in After Effects CS6 in order to sync content with music. However, there is mass havoc when syncing because it is not smooth. I want to reduce the amount of keyframes generated by convert audio to keyframes so I can smoothly transition the effects. Making all the keyframes easy ease does nothing, either, because it generates to every frame of the video. Help is greatly appreciated.
You cannot control the number of keyframes generated by the assistant. you have to use a script to remove keyframes or do so manually. Check AEScripts.com . you can also apply .smooth()expressions.
You can also use Audition to remove unwanted frequencies in your audio. Export the modified audio, import it into AE, and the keyframe assistant will better reflect what you intended.
