While choosing a font style in After Effects, the drop down menu has several sets that are alphabetized within each set. But what are these sets and is there a way to just all of the fonts in one big list alphabetically like Adobe does in Photoshop and Premiere?
And why is there no preview of the font syle in the list like there is in Photoshop and Premiere?
Finding specific fonts in After Effects is way more work than it should be, at least it is the way I'm currently doing it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Adobe After Effects CC v. 184.108.40.206

Text engine definitely could use some work. If you know the name of the font you can just start typing it.
Other than that after effects does not store any fonts in the aep file so if you are going to move to another system you need to bring the fonts with you.
