This is another roadblock in the automatization project I am working on. Platform information: OSX 10.10 or 10.11; Photoshop CC2015, current updates.
We have to open the RAW image in the Camera Raw plug-in (for various reasons). Then, we have to open the image in Photoshop for further processing.
Fortunately, being on Mac, it is possible to access parts of the UI of the CameraRaw plug-in using System Events. So good so far.
The problem is that controlling the UI using System Events requires clearance in the Accessibility security settings. As the automatization solution is its own application, this clearance has to be given to the application. For some reasons OSX thinks that the application changes with uses, and requires that clearance with every new start of the application.
Conclusion of that is, using System Events is not really such a good idea in this context.
So, my question: is there a way to automatize those steps without the need of the UI of the CameraRaw plug-in (considering that we rely on something happening when in manual operation, the "open image" button is clicked.
Any helpful hints (and not so helpful too) are highly appreciated.
