Could you please check if the files are present on your iPad under document cloud.
Please select the Document cloud from the list and then check if the files that you needed are listed there.
If files are there, then try to check the files on your Desktop application under Home > Document cloud. Make sure you are sign in with your Adobe ID in the application.
Let us know if you are still not able to view files on your desktop application.

i can find my files on my Ipad only under documents but not under the cloud file. On my Computer I only can see the files which I recently used. But not all of my files and folders I created on my Ipad. Im sorry, that I am that stupid - but I just dont get it.

If you need the files that you have created on your iPad, you need to upload those files to Document cloud.
Refer this KB doc for help : Acrobat Reader Help for iOS: Managing files and folders
Then try opening those file on your desktop from Home>Document cloud.
