You could have "Evidence" in bold and blue on odd pages and bold-Italic and red on even pages!
… but only if you want! Aha!
Note: It's not a matter of variable in the current text!
Not only that particular text and not for all odd pages!
Next odd page may be another heading and some other words.
So that the RH of odd pages need to update automatically as per the H1 in that chapter,
that is the reason we created the text variable and called the paragraph style...

A single variable cannot have multiple formats in the variable text because the variable itself is one character. Sometimes you can build the headers using multiple character-style running headers, but it won't always work. Obi-wan seems to have some alternate method and maybe he will explain it instead of teasing us.
