Kristian Gabriel Jun 9, 2016 12:53 PM (in response to srochi)Also, if you can go your Preferences > Memory and tell use your RAM config. It sounds like the allocation of RAM between your system and Adobe is off. (see image)
Its likely you need to tweak this because AE is not getting what it needs. It can also be an OS problem in what its allowing AE to have. It can also be a video card issue. I had a similar error where a video card update interefered with my applications RAM allocation. In rare cases it can be damaged or failed ram modules. Definitely give us more info on your OS and AE version and your how much RAM you currently have in your system.
