    AFTER EFFECTS

    Oli_K

      Hi

i'm new to After Effects so don't know much about it. Ive just spent the day editing together a short clip and now i need to color correct certain parts of the final cut. Do I have to color correction each individual clip and then rearrange my original cut with the new color corrected shots, or can i use my already finished cut and just color correct certain shots

      Thanks

      Oli

Since you have done all work in AE already, what is stopping you from just dumping effects on your trimmed layers or pre-comps? It's totally up to you, so technically there is nothing to replace. But you have a fundamental misunderstanding here in the first place. AE isn't an editing program meant for cutting to begin with.

            Hi

No I edited it all in Premiere Pro. I have sorted the issue now but thanks anyway.
