Swap RichTextEditor TextArea out with my own

I'd like to swap out the standard Flex TextArea used by RichTextEditor with the DynamicTextArea Greg wrote about in his article here:

      http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/communityengine/index.cfm?event=showdetails&postId=13628&prod uctId=2

I used RemoveChild to remove the existing TextArea, and AddChild to add the dynamic resizing one in my already extended RichTextEditor class but o fcourse that doesn't completely hook it up to my RichTextEditor.

Is there an "easy" way to do this? I'd like to drop the DynamicTextArea into a RichTextEditor and have it assume all the functionality the default one does without having to do anything different where the RichTextEditor is being used in my app.
