You say you're importing iPhone video? Are you having the same problem on iOS?
Are you getting the audio error on audio with Clip? If you mute your video's audio, and add a soundtrack, is the noise still there?
No. It's imported from a gopro. It works on any device and sofware - except the Adobe Clip. Imported Audio don't work either.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. The team is investigating it.
When you say "Imported Audio" doesn't work either - are you referring to music/soundtrack?
yes. when i want to replace the clip's audio for a mp3 for e.g. - in the audio preview everything is fine, even in the adobe clip ap. but when i import it into a scene, i got the noise.
So it's not depending on the format or source. It's the same for local recorded audio, video, gopro or yi footage, mp3 etc...
The phone is a inFocus M808, lates android 5.1 for this model.
thanks in advance!
Any feedback from the debugger specialists?
I Have the same issue.
I am using an oppo f1s and am using the videos shot with the oppo f1s and then whether i edit using freeform or auto it makes this white noise over tbe clip its very frustrating as i bought my oppo f1s since its the best selfie vlogging phone on the market.
Cant even rely on adobe at the moment to fix a year old problem.
I have the same problem. Running on a Xiaomi pro with enough power. Only getting loud white noise. Even after muting audio still there. Even if I use a audio track from the premier library all I get is white noise. I can see the correct waveform in the clip trimmer but it won't play it. Please help as I would love to use this app which seems very good for editors.
I am getting the same issue inmy asus zenfone 3max phone. The noise is there in the audio. Hope u guys can fix the bug asap. It works in my old phone.
Amazing how in one year this BUG is still there and not being fixed, absolutely counterproductive for Adobe! I have the same issue runnig it on a Xiaomi Redmi Pro, which has plenty of processing power!
I have the same problem, a lot of white noise. If I turn the volume down to 2% I can hear a little bit of the original sound behind the white noise. Is there any solution to this?
Found the problem, i think its not the bug but it's like rendering session of the videos u made.. try render and save & the result will be good if you preview it from gallery...
I have the same problem. I can't edit the clips because instead of the original sound (like my kids talking to the camera) I have white noise. Once I render the final file the original sound appears but this is useless because I can't balance the sound of the original video and the added soundtrack while editing. I have to render video by trial-and-error method, like creating three videos with three different sound settings and hoping that one will suit me. A rather humiliating bug for Adobe. Sony Xperia M5
