    PhoneGap builds corrupted iOS application

    testu94379083

      Hello,

I'm struggling with building iOS application. Although the log says BUILD SUCCESS the downloaded application is corrupted. My App ID is 2117589

I don't know what is wrong because a week ago it worked just fine. Any idea what could be wrong?

      Thanks for help

      Pavel

PS: I noticed that if I upload new application using the web interface then the version doesn't change despite the fact that it was changed in config.xml file.

Can you expand on what you mean by "corrupted"?

          What behaviour are you seeing?

Does it fail to install, or does it fail to run?

It won't run and it even doesn't have an icon. Normally the ipk has 2.9MB. Now it has only 2.74MB

When I try to upload the zip file via REST API then I get the error "no index.html present". But the zip contains this file in the root.

It seems like its actually your zip file that is corrupted -- at least Build doesn't seem to like it. The file tree retrieved from your zip looks like this:

So it seems to be reading your directory entries as files. How are you zipping?

I'm zipping either by gulp-zip or 7zip. Both running on Windows 7 machine. If I decompress the file then the directory structure is preserved. Even the 7zip identifies directory entries correctly.

I tried to upload the same www.zip archive into another account (APP ID 1641066) and it worked. So it makes me think that the problem may be at PhoneGap Build server.
